Thank you all for an incredible campaign! The Kickstarter raised over $224K with over 3800 backers! We are blown away by your support, and have had a great time talking to everyone in the comments, messages, emails, etc. Thanks to you all, the Rising Flames expansion is fully upgraded with all 20 stretch goals, plus a bonus gift that we added when we hit $200,000! 

More to come later, we will keep everyone updated through each step of the process. We can't wait to get the games, expansions, P&Ps, buckets and more into your hands and on the table. Thanks again!

This is it, the last few days of the Kickstarter! With over 3,000 backers, we are thrilled with this campaign so far. We are extremely grateful to all of you for supporting us. Thank you.

All the things!

So far, we've unlocked 16 stretch goals which upgrade the expansion in the following ways:

•  Fifth Player Mode (with additional components)!
•  Five new Event Cards, including Coyote Tactics, Full Moon, Lightning Fires, Windstorm and Dry Season
• Four new Solo Challenge Cards
•  Box Upgrades: Linen Finish, UV Spot Coat, and new wrap-around artwork
•  Shadow Die Upgrades:  Increased size and color-mixed
•  Shadow Power Card Upgrades: UV Spot Coat and Ghost Tower on the back side
• Thicker Firehawk Meeples
•  Printing on the Cloth Bag (Deluxe Expansion)

Next up is bigger lightning tokens for the Deluxe Expansion, and we have more in store if that stretch goal is unlocked!

We have 9 days to go and have raised over $159,000!! Thank you so much for supporting the campaign and getting out the word about Fire Tower and the Rising Flames expansion!

Social Goals

We are SO CLOSE to reaching our social goals. We have unlocked Facebook shares, Facebook likes, and BGG fans! We only need 100 more Instagram followers to unlock the social goal of TWO new event cards. Follow us here. (We plan on posting pictures of the manufacturing process there as well!)

2nd Wave: Higher level pledge tiers

Due to high demand we have unlocked a small number of Smokejumper and Wilderness tiers. These have gone very quickly in the past, and we want to give more people a chance if they are interested in them. 

Stretch Goals

Since our last update, we have unlocked linen finish on our expansion box, and have upgraded the Shadow Powers card to include a Ghost Tower with original artwork by Kevin Ruelle on the back! Like the Tower Ablaze cards, you can lay this card on the board to cover up another tower. This is specifically for the three player Ghost Tower variant included in the game. When we hit $160k we will unlock UV Spot Coat on the Shadow Powers Card. And we have more stretch goals in store!

Add-Ons, Stretch Goals, and more!

It has been a great week since we sent our last weekly update! We've passed $133,000 and have unlocked three more stretch goals! 

Add-Ons

A lot of you have been asking us about the Add-Ons, so we wanted to give a quick rundown here. To include an add-on in your pledge, increase your pledge amount by the cost of the add-on (they are also included in some of the pledge tiers). 

MEGAHAWKS - $4

Each player will now start the game with a powerful hawk. Unlike firehawks, you can move your megahawk one space each turn, or use it to pick up a fire gem adjacent to your hawk. Once you've triggered your megahawk, keep it close by so that you can use it again when you next add hawks to your quadrant. 

WOODEN BUCKETS AND WATER GEMS - $10

Each player upgrades their Bucket Card to a wooden bucket that matches their tower, filled with three water gems. When you play water cards, you may now place water gems in any unused parts of the pattern. These gems build "wet lines," areas that wet the forest and create temporary barriers to the flames. If fire enters their area, they are removed and added back to your bucket, but no fire gem is placed. Once your bucket has been used, you may no longer add wet lines to the forest. Both a component upgrade and mini-expansion!

SIGNED POSTER - $18

Designed based on the new Solo Challenge Cards, this 11 x 17 inch watercolor poster is by Kevin Ruelle (Fire Tower's artist). Signed by designers Gwen Ruelle and Sam Bryant, and artist Kevin Ruelle. 

GAMES

If you pledge for the Standard Combo or any higher pledge tiers, you can add an additional copy of Fire Tower for $39. Please note that the higher pledge tiers (Wall of Flame, Wilderness, Smokejumper, or Firestorm) do NOT include the core game. You can add it by adding $39 to your pledge. You can also add more copies of the expansions as well (price details under Add-Ons).

Stretch Goals

We have unlocked three new stretch goals since our last update! 

1. Inner Box Art: The expansion box will feature watercolor artwork by Kevin Ruelle that depicts the forest and firehawks in flight. This artwork will wrap around the outside of the bottom half of the box, so that it is revealed as you open the box. 

2. Two More Solo Challenge Cards: That brings our total to 12 Solo Challenge Cards! This adds even more variability to Solo Mode, making each game a unique and challenging adventure. 

3. Full Moon Event: We've added a new optional Event Card to the game! When the full moon rises and the shadows grow long, each player will gain access to the powers of the Shadow of the Wood for a turn. 

Social Goals

We are getting close to unlocking two more cards from our Social Goals! We still need 70 more Facebook page likes, and 165 more Instagram followers. We can do it! We have already unlocked Facebook shares and Board Game Geek fans, so we are nearly there.

Wall of Flame 

Just a reminder that the Wall of Flame is now open to international backers! Unfortunately, due to Kickstarter policy, we cannot update the pledge description which says US only, but the shipping now allows you to choose any location. Thanks, and sorry for the inconvenience.

More Wilderness, Smokejumper, and Firestorm tiers

Hi everyone!

Just a quick note. Due to popular demand, we have added a few more of the higher level pledge tiers (Wilderness, Smokejumper, and Firestorm). There is a limited number of these available, so if you are interested in a fire pit or any of the higher-level rewards, now is your chance!

Please note that the higher level pledge tiers do not include the core game. Please add $39 to your pledge to include the core game. 

We will be sending out our regular Weekly Update with more news tomorrow.
